Almost a month in....Elder Hoots is going strong!

Another week....another letter.  This letter is a day late getting posted because I wanted to post some pictures too.

Well things are starting to pick up here. Me and my companion can practically speak for like 30 minutes in just Spanish and its really cool when you can just talk in Spanish and not hafta think about it.  It helps that my teacher is straight from Mexico and he speaks so fast its stupid, but I can actually understand him.  Me and my companion are kinda in front of the class so he told us that he doesn't want to ever speak in English to us.  Its pretty rough but whatev...I got it.  He tells me all the things about Mexico City and it just gets me that much more excited to freakin get out there.  He told me that if I sound gringo they are gunna make fun of me cause my last name is Jaramillo so i guess I aint talking for the first six months.

Congrats to Rhett on his graduation and I am glad that he had a good time at grad  night.  I am glad that you guys all had fun at the party.

Congratulations to Brock and Paula on being facebook official now. woooooooooooohooooo! haha.

But the food here is still messin with me.  I thought after three weeks I would get used to it but definitely not.  It is crazy that I have been here for almost a month already.  The MTC feels like a mission in itself.  But I am alright.

My good friend here left for Peru this week and that was a little sad. he was so nervous cause he is a six four white dude with blonde hair and blue eyes and he definitely does not speak Spanish. But he is a funny guy with a good personality so he will be fine.

Things keep goin here.  A lot of studying.  Me and my companion got a basketball hoop on our door and it is dangerous sometimes. haha.  We also started bowling with all of our left over water bottles.  Lets just say he pretty much cant beat me at anything but a foot race haha./

But I am doing fine here and starting to enjoy myself more.  People, don't be afraid to send me packages I wont be mad haha ;).

When I get out in the field I will be able to upload pics but I can't now so sowwy but my mom and Kristen have some so if you want to see some just hit them up. *(Editor's note:  Kristen provided the pics below).

I love you all and miss you guys.  Pray for everyone every day.
