New choir, First Presidency sighting, and more pictures

Below is the letter from Haden for this week.  He had a pretty cool experience this week and it seems like he is having a good time.

Haden leaves for Mexico in just 2 weeks...so get those packages sent to him ASAP.  When he gets to Mexico I will have his new address in the contact info.

What is up world?!?

I have some exciting stuff for you and let me tell you whats been going on...

Well first of all, I got called to be the music coordinator for my zone.  They thought I could play the piano, boy were they wrong, haha.  Well whatever.  Also I made a special choir to perform for all the devotionals that the new mission presidents have.  We have 100 or so mission presidents here this week so we are kind of on lock down.

This morning was our first performance.  We were getting ready to go in and a guy comes in the room and says "Just so you elders and sisters know, we have 9 of the Quorum of Twelve here and the First Presidency is here."  He also didn't mention that about 50 of the Quorum of the Seventy were here.

So we walk in, walk up on the stage, and sitting right behind me, not three feet aways was Elder Bednar, Elder Holland, President Boyd K. Packar, Elder Dallin H. Oaks, Elder D. Todd Christofferson, and Elder Russel M. Nelson.  It was pretty legit and I was nervous.  And probably ten feet from us was the Prophet, President Eyring and President Uchtdorf. 

It was an awesome experience and some exciting news for this week.

Other then that it was just another week at the MTC. Study, speak Spanish, study, speak Spanish, study, sleep and do it all over again.

Anyways I miss all you guys.  I am doing pretty good, a little stressed but besides that I am good.

I leave for Mexico in two weeks and it is insane to think that I will be in Mexico that quickly.  I am super excited but I am also so nervous.  It is so crazy, I am excited but I need to learn Spanish still.

I miss you guys and pray for everyone all the time.
