Hard Work Pays Off...and Causes Leg Cramps

This is the letter from this week.  I am finally caught up.

I hope you have enjoyed Haden's letters as much as we have.  I want you all to know that everything he says in his letters are really how he feels.  He doesn't tell all of you he's doing great, and then tell us how he's really feeling.  He really is feeling great and in these letters and our personal coorespondence we can see the change and the maturity. 

We are proud.

Letter to America,

Well my new companion, Elder Shirley, is from the grand city of Lovelock, Nevada. Haha. He is a good kid and he knows everything. I feel like a dork for telling you guys this but sometimes, we just like sit and talk about the Bible.  Just discussions like, "why do you think this" and, "what does he mean when he says this." Its pretty fun. Oh man, who am I?  Not that I didn't love talking about the Bible before my mission. :)

But this week was good. We worked super hard and had a ton of lessons. We taught like 25 lessons this week. Friday night it started to raining and it rained until Sunday night. Satuday we walked a ton. We had so many things to do and no one was home. We were on our feet all day. We were so tired that at like 6 at night, we started getting cramps in our calves. We couldn't walk more then like three blocks without stopping and rubbing our legs. And it was cold too.  Then on Sunday we at a toooooon. I was so full. Just that I would tell you guys that.

There is this girl that we have been teaching named Cesia. She told us she knows it's all true but she is only 17. And because she is underage her dad has to be ok with it. That was a problem, because her dad would not give her permission to get baptized. Finally this week she said she talked with him and told him how she felt. And he said it was ok if she got baptised. WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Also there is this lady named Sandra. She is so legit. We taught her this week and our second lesson, she told us that she feels different when she is with us. I asked her if it was cause of my good looks. She just laughed and said no. Jacked up. But she says the way she feels lets her know that it us true. She has a date to get baptised on the 14th of July.

Good week. I am super tired. Sorry I don't have much time.  But I am doing good and working hard. I love you all and am losing myself in the work slowly and slowly. I am not here for anything except to serve God and help people find the happiness that they need. I am not here for anyone else, not even myself. Only God. I know I will be blessed and this is just helping me prepare myself for the rest of my life. I will always remember the things that I am learning, the people I am meeting and the experiences that I am living. I love this gospel and I know that it is the only true gospel on the earth. And I will serve my Father in Heaven until the end.
