Letter to America,
Hello. Well I don't know what to say. I don't know what's going on here but the work is so hard. It's hard to find people for the last couple weeks. But finally its getting a little better. We found a lot of great people with a lot of potential. I probably say this every week but it's crazy to think that I am conversing with people in another language than English. But I like it. Nothing exciting really happened this week.
Me and my companion found a couple scorpions. The first one I was in the bathroom.....ummmmm well I am in Mexico you can probably figure out what I was doing, and I saw a scorpion run by me. It scared me so bad that I almost fell off. I was looking for something to kill it but I couldn't find anything, so I just took the plunger and put it on top of the scorpion. That was such a good idea I was all proud of myself. haha.
The other one was in the socks of my companion. That was cool we trapped it with a clothes clip thingy. And then killed it. I got a picture...I'll send it. Cool stuff. Haha.
I went on interchanges with this missionary named Elder Balderas. He is a cool kid. One of my favorite companions. He is from Tamaulipas, I think, and is really brown. Haha. Not racist but seriously I ask him every time I see him. Have you been tanning? Haha. He never answers me. But that was a fun day. His area is horrible. It is like straight mountains. I felt like I was hiking in the Appalachians. Is that how you spell it? Either way, you all understand. But I slept so well that night.
It seems like every week I blink another week has gone by. May is already over with. Crazy stuff. But here we go. I am ready to take year two by the horns.
Have a good week all. Hopefully I will have better stories for you guys next week....like more scorpions or maybe a family of scorpions or maybe ill get robbed. Who knows what can happen. Haha. Love you all and miss you.
