Good Start to Summer

Dear people.

Hi. How y'all doin?

This week was a good week. We worked really hard and found some great people. On Monday we went to the wax museum. We took some funny pictures but my trustee camera died right in the middle. So I'll have to go back. But yeah. I sent some pics home for you guys to see. I hope you like them.

Finally after six weeks of working our butts off we had a baptism! It was with a girl named Paola. She is super awesome. And now we are teaching her family.  So the baptism was Saturday morning and Friday night they had a wedding at the church. We went to the church to clean the baptismal font and fill it at like 6 in the morning.  When we got there, holy shnikies....there were so many sodas and things just lined up on the wall and the floor was all dirty and pretty much black.  We ended up cleaning the church for 3.5 hours to get it clean.  I was not happy. But I am not gunna lie it turned out pretty nice.

So tomorrow I get a new companion. His name is Elder Shirley.  He is from Nevada.  He is such a cool kid, I like him.   We have been working in the same ward, just different areas.   But now they just mixed it and we are together. I am stoked to start working with him.

In both areas we have great people. We had a meeting this week and it made me think a lot about why we are here.  When I left I was thinking and I realized that I am totally different.  Well, I guess not totally different....as you can see from the pics.  But I am on the inside and I can tell.  I came on my mission for a reason.  I don't know what that reason is now, but I know that at some point I will know.  It will help me throughout my life.  Beyond my personal reason, I know that I am here to help these people find Jesus Christ.

I have seen things take place, miracles. And I know that this is true. I love every minute of it. Even when people slam the door in our face...ok not really.  But I love it and I love this gospel.

Sorry I can't write a lot. But the photos took forever and a half. But that's just a little bit to tell you what's been going on. I have to prepare myself if I want to write a lot. But I am working hard, and loving every minute of it. Have a good week everyone.
