Three's Company

This is last week's letter.  I didn't have a chance to put it up until now.  He hasn't written a lot lately, but he has been writing the family and we are happy to report that he is doing really well.  He loves his mission, the people, the area and the work.  Although he is excited to be home in a couple months, he is also sad to have to leave the area that he has grown to love so much.

We get to talk to Elder Hoots next week and we are all very excited.  I will report on how that goes.

Letter to America
I am really bad at writing letters. I don't even know if anyone reads them any more. I just get kinda lazy about it and so much happens in the week that by the time I get to Monday I forget it all and don't have anything to say.
This week, I have two new companions. Yes I am in a trio. It's a little bit harder to take care of two people. But this week they had the chicken pox and they were in the house the whole time.  So I got to hang out with the zone leaders this week and that was really fun because one of them is my good friend from the MTC.
I will tell you about my comps.
Elder Padilla is about five feet tall and he is from Yucatan. He is a funny kid. Sometimes he has an attitude but he only has it for about five minutes and then he humbles himself and isn't mad anymore.  I am learning to be stronger with him. He has more time in the mission than me so sometimes he feels like he doesn't have to listen to me but he has taught me a lot and we have fun together.
Elder Salina is my other comp. Sometimes I feel bad for him, because I have 19 months in the mission and Padilla has 20, but Salina only has 10.  So I feel bad because we are at much different points in our progression. But he is a good kid and we are helping him learn.
I am working hard and really tired. I have been sleeping on a couch for the last week in a mosquito infected house so I haven't been sleeping very well. Despite all that, I am happy and that's all that matters.
That's all the time I have for this week. Hopefully I will have more time next week to write more.
Love you all,
Haden
