Hello!
This week was pretty good. I was super excited for conference and when it came, I had to watch the first session in Spanish. I wouldn't have been that mad if it was the mission president that told us we couldn't watch it in English. But we found out we weren't going to be able to watch it in English and so we asked the stake president if we could watch it in English in another room. What upset us is that he lied and told us that the mission president said we couldn't, because it is more important that we learn Spanish. We knew it wasn't true because, 2 Nephi 3:21 say we need to learn the word first.
So we called the mission president and he said he never said that. So we asked the stake president about it and he said that he thinks we should watch it in Spanish because we have 8 white missionaries and they are all horrible at Spanish. So not only did he lie, but he put down all the missionaries out here trying to work hard and learn Spanish. But we finally got it set up so we could watch the second session in English.
This letter is coming so late and it's not very long because today I sprained 3 ligaments in my ankle playing soccer. I fell on it and heard it crack and I thought I broke it, but after "closer examination" we found out that it was only sprained. It hurts so bad I want to cry. I have a walking boot and crutches so that should be fun walking around Mexico City with crutches.
My companion got called to district leader. So that's cool at least.
But that's all I have time for this week, I promise next week I will have more stuff and it will be longer.
I love you all, I am safe and semi-healthy. haha. mucho amor
