For those of you that have been following, there seems to be a happier tone to each letter and it's good to hear. Imagine Haden telling the stories in his overly "Hollywood" way and the letters are much more enjoyable.

Well this week was pretty sweet.
First of all I cut my hair. In the middle of my hair cut we had an earthquake so I had to run outside with my hair half cut and I looked a little freakin dumb. Everyone was looking at me like I was a weirdo. Whatever, it's over.
But this week we had a baptism. Yay!!!! It was of Adriana. She is 27 and has a 2 year old. She was super prepared.
Funny thing happened at this baptism. We usually we have a guy in the ward go and fill the water up for the baptisms, but this time he didn't. The baptism was at 6:00pm and the bishop told us at 4:30pm that he couldn't fill it up. For those of you who don't know, it's like filling up a jacuzzi for a baptism. It's not something that you can fill in 10 minutes. So we ran to the church. No one was there. Called a member who came really fast to let us in and left again. We filled it up with cold water. Ran to the house, got our clothes and ran back to the church. I was so tired. But everything went great. A lot of people showed up and the Spirit was strong. The only other thing was the Adriana took like 30 minutes to change. So all the people were left to sit there and wait, I think they sang like 10 hymns. But it was awesome.
Easter was a little ridiculous. Everyone in Mexico gets drunk the night before a holiday and so on the actual holiday they are all hung over and don't want to do anything. And here, they celebrate Easter for a week. So Sunday was like a dead day. No one in the street. Tumbleweeds passing us....hawks flying in circles above us. It was weird. Haha.
We went and visited this girl that we baptized a little bit ago and she told us "I just don't want to go to church." We talked to her and at the end she said "I don't want to go and I am not going to go." It really bummed me out and I was sad all night. But also we have David who is going to get baptised this week. He always says good things that cheer us up. So that makes me happy. Good stuff.
I feel good. My love for the people that I am teaching and the members here has grown so much. I love it here and I wouldn't change it for the world. Today we went to Teotihucan. I learned how to say it today. It's the pyramids here. It was so sweet. I spent so much money. But yeah. We talked to some people in English and that was fun. And speaking in English is harder than it sounds when you have been in Mexico for 9 months.
In 2 days it will be my 11 month mark for my mission. Almost a year. Its crazy how fast it is going. It has gone way fast. Also tomorrow is the B-day of my beautiful mom. Happy b-day mom. Love you. For those of you that are wondering, she will be 35 years old I think. :D
Sorry this week was a little random. Just a little something to let you guys know that I am safe and healthy and happy. Love you all and thanks for all of those who are supporting me. Pictures will be coming next week. Promise.
Love,
Haden
